Risaralda’s soil for growing coffee has been blessed by the three closest volcanoes: Paramillo de Santa Rosa, Paramillo del Cisne and Nevado de Santa Isabel. This jurisdiction is characterized by its variety of landscapes and microclimates, producing varieties of excellent coffee flavor. Its warm temperate and humid environment produces tender beans. These beans develop a sweet and pronounced aroma, in addition to its balanced body of low acidity and clean cup. It is located at an average elevation of 4,400 feet, with temperatures between 66 ° F and 75 ° F. The main harvest season is September through December.
